Benefits of blocks
Precise geometric dimensions
Extremely high compressive strength
Fast construction
Good soundproofing properties
High resistance to fire and moisture
Aesthetic surface
Cost-effectiveness
No crane or other machinery required for installation, can be lifted by hand
Uses of blocks
- For foundations – strip foundations, basement walls, or, in the case of a building with pile or drilled foundations, a rostrum of blocks, at least 2 courses high, may be used;
- For monolithic load-bearing or retaining walls;
- Walls subject to high acoustic, fire or moisture resistance requirements.
The blocks shall be reinforced and the holes shall be filled with concrete in accordance with the design requirements.
